MORGANTOWN — Two rural health providers serving Monongalia and Preston counties will receive nearly $3 million in federal money to support their efforts to provide comprehensive care.

Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., announced May 17 that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will award a total of $2,978,843 to the Clay-Battelle Health Services Association and Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers.

The Clay-Battelle Health Services Association will receive $1,094,353, while the Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers will receive $1,884,490.
