MORGANTOWN — A Morgantown man faces up to five years in prison after firing two shots into a yard with two women in the area, according to an arrest report.

The Morgantown Police Department charged Kareem Amir Coleman, 25, with wanton endangerment. He was arraigned in Monongalia County Magistrate Court on April 20 with bail set at $10,000.

According to his criminal complaint: On April 14, at about 12:30 a.m., police went to Luckey Lane for a report of wanton endangerment.

The victim told police that Coleman yelled at her over a dispute with her son about money. Coleman fired twice from a handgun into her friend yard. The victim and her granddaughter were both in the area.
